Account Manager (Remote)

RMEI Medical Education, LLC, a jointly-accredited medical education provider, is seeking a dynamic and collaborative Account Manager to support the goals of the Educational Strategy team. This individual will help manage stakeholder relationships through proactive communication and focus on the achievement of grant deliverables on a consistent, timely, accurate, and professional basis. Our ideal candidate will also support presentations to external stakeholders and may travel onsite to conferences, as necessary. Externally, the Account Manager will need to communicate effectively with biopharma grantors, as well as, business partners at foundations, associations, and patient advocacy groups (all key to successful IME programming). Internally, the role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of creative, medical, outcomes, and operations experts to produce groundbreaking education that ultimately impacts patient care delivery. 

Experience in Independent Medical Education, biopharma or healthcare industry, and knowledge of current regulatory guidelines and grant development is strongly preferred. We are looking for someone who has a high attention to detail, a proactive mindset for managing challenges, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The corporate office is located in Voorhees, New Jersey, outside of Philadelphia. This role can be 100% remote or partial in office, if desired.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate execution of key deliverables between the Educational Strategy team lead and both the external (grantors and business partners) and the internal (program management, outcomes) stakeholders
  • Understand product lifecycle models, communication offerings, product marketing, and competitive/external environmental factors
  • Provide excellent customer service to key stakeholders
  • Provide support to the Educational Strategy Lead on the development of business plans and educational strategies for new IME grant funding across assigned accounts
  • Assess the scope of all assigned grantors and identify the range and depth of support necessary for achieving account objectives
  • Work with Educational Strategy Lead to identify new funding opportunities within accounts and long-range strategies to capture those opportunities in a timely manner
  • Manage and coordinate grant development with an applied understanding of account nuances
  • Up to 25% travel may be required in this position (can include nights and weekends)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree  
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in account management within the IME, biopharma, or broader healthcare fields
  • Coachable and teachable mindset that can absorb RMEI’s approach to business strategy
  • Strong business writing and verbal presentation skills
  • Solutions-oriented thinker who can both identify and offer ideas for resolving problems
  • Service-minded in their approach to external relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Adept at working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
