Project Budget Analyst (Remote)

Robert Michael Communications, Inc., an administrative company offering shared services to an independent medical education company and 2 full-service medical communications companies, is seeking a Remote Project Budget Analyst to join the team! This position is responsible for developing client budgets and proposals and managing project budgets. The role supports the project management teams and executive management. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail. 

The office is located in Voorhees, New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. Due to COVID-19, the company is currently working in a remote environment. The role can be 100% remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze, review, and collaborate with project managers and executives to develop client budgets, proposals, contracts, and grants
  • Organize budget templates and data in a clear and intuitive manner
  • Provide direct financial project management support to monitor spending and internal hours expended through budget reconciliations to ensure it remains within budget
  • Review project performance against budget including advisement to project and executive management on actions necessary to maximize profitability

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited college or university. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience with project budgeting is required. Following experience is preferred: experience with proposals and/or grants within the medical communications or medical education industries.
  • Ability to perform accurate, complex calculations in a timely manner
  • Flexibility to change tasks as priorities change
  • Proficiency in finance, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting principles
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills preferred
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Outlook, and PDF applications
  • General knowledge and experience of accounting software required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
